1. Media Converters

AM-509R is a Media converter that transmits signals between ethernet 10Base-T UTP medium and thin ethernet coaxial medium. Collision data are transmited to ensure 100% collision detection in the combination of network segments or devices. AM-509R is an ideal solution that provides connection from 10base-T to thin-net backbone, where BNC port is not available on the existing 10Base-T concentrator. It provides a plug-and-play solution at very low cost. In a match-box similar size, AM-509R can be easily installed in the environment with limited space. Four diagnostic LED indicators provide clear and quick diagnosis if any network problem is encountered. AM-509R comes with an external AC power adapter.

2. Media Converters

This converter is designed to connect the 10/100/1000 base-T network to a 10/100/1000 base-TX device. The converter works by simply repeating the signals from 10/100/1000 base-TX to suitable format for transmission over fiber cables to the 1000Base-FX link. Simply upgrade twisted pair networks to fiber and the problems of difficult installations associated with traditional Converters.
