1. Media Converters 100Base-Fx-10/100Base-TX

The Converter works by simply repeating the signals from 10/100Base-TX to suitable format for transmission over fiber cables to the 100Base-FX link. Simply upgrade twisted pair networks to fiber and the problems of difficult installations associated with traditional converters. It also can be a PD of POE side, supports 802.3af function.

2. Gigabit Ethernet Media Converters And Modules

1. IEEE802.3z/AB 1000Mbps Gigabit Ethernet supports two types of Media for network connection such as 1000Base-T and 1000Base-SX/LX. 2. AM-C301/AU-C301 Media Converter is designed to connect these two types of segments to operate smoothly. 3. AM-C301 can be used as a standalone unit or as a slide-in module to the Ruby Tech CR-10xx 19" Converter rack(up to 10 units) for use at a central wiring closet. 6. Unmanaged Gigabit Ethernet Media Converters

1000Base-T to 1000Base-LX WDM Converter. AM-C351 is a Gigabit Ethernet Media Converter. It supports conversion of Gigabit Ethernet 1000Base-T signal to 1000Base-LX over a single fiber strand using an integrated Wavelength Division Multiplexer (WDM). The WDM technology employs passive optic multiplexing, thus multiplexs the transmit (TX) and receive (RX) lines onto a single fiber. It will save a half cabling cost by replacing regular dual fiber Converter with AM-C351.

7. Fiber Optic Media Converters

The under network configurations that use a combination of twisted pair and fiber optic Media will require Fiber Optic Media Converter. The Converter allows a network segment to make the transition from UTP to fiber or from fiber to UTP.

8. Media Converters

AM-509R is a Media Converter that transmits signals between ethernet 10Base-T UTP medium and thin ethernet coaxial medium. Collision data are transmited to ensure 100% collision detection in the combination of network segments or devices. AM-509R is an ideal solution that provides connection from 10base-T to thin-net backbone, where BNC port is not available on the existing 10Base-T concentrator. It provides a plug-and-play solution at very low cost. In a match-box similar size, AM-509R can be easily installed in the environment with limited space. Four diagnostic LED indicators provide clear and quick diagnosis if any network problem is encountered. AM-509R comes with an external AC power adapter.

With SNMP agent, web-based management and Telnet text-based manual driven management, the network administrator can logon the remotely Converter to monitor, configure and control the activity of each port. In addition, both converters will be shut down if the cooling system fails and the temperature is too high.
