Detail Information

Description :

1. Cloisonné enamel: cloisonné enamel is a decorative work of art in China. After improving the skill, it enhanced in the Ming Dynasty (1368 - 1644). During the year of Ching-Tai, The technologist used it to create the handicraft articles. Such as vase, snuff bottles, wine pots and bowls etc that had fresh, glossy and bright appearances. Now, people use the cloisonné enamel on the surface of lapel pins to get the beautiful effect.
2. Die struck/cloisonné emblem: Die struck process is the modern skill to create the lapel pins. The piece of red bronze is stamped by pressure machine to get the raised and recessed areas on the surface of metal. The worker-technician hand-fills the cloisonné enamel into the recessed area. Then burning, polishing, welding the attachment and electroplating that makes the metal plates glitter. So the lapel pins have a deluxe finish, they are all worthy collections. Besides, the very small detail or words could be screen-printed on the surface of the pin. The cloisonné enamel has another name; it is called "hard enamel". It is as hard as a glass but easy to break when dropping on the ground. Because the cloisonné is a kind of mineral, the color is limited. (Logos, designs shown are for reference only.)
