Brown fused alumina
(brown corundum/fused brown alumina/brown fused alumina oxide/BFA) is produced by fusion of bauxite in an electric arc furnace at high temperatures. BFA is of high hardness, toughness, self-sharpening, heat resistance and chemical stability, etc. BFA can be used in the manufacture of Bonded abrasives, Coated Abrasives, Vitrified/Resin grinding tool, and refractory, etc.
