Zinc alloy die-casting is used for mechanical parts that have special requirements for mechanical properties, high requirements for hardness and strength, good wear resistance, and dimensional accuracy and extension rate requirements. The application range is generally the same as that of No. 5 alloy, such as car wash parts, construction hardware, electromechanical parts, mechanical parts, electrical components, etc.

Used for cold chamber pressure casting. Its strength, hardness and abrasion resistance are higher than that of alloy No. 8. It has good impact toughness and load carrying capacity, but its plateability is slightly worse. This alloy can be manufactured with lubricated bearings, bushings, worm gears and wear-resistant parts, pneumatic and hydraulic parts, industrial equipment, household appliances, spare parts for transportation vehicles, pipe joints, valves, small hardware, etc. The castability and size are durable and stable, so that more than 70% of zinc alloy die-casting products are made of No. 3 zinc alloy.

No. 3 zinc alloy surface treatment such as electroplating, painting and chromizing. Products are widely used in mobile phone shells, automobiles, motorcycles, electronic communications, meters and other mechanical parts; and toys, accessories, tableware, locks and other advanced hardware devices.

Characteristics of No. 3 zinc die-cast alloy

1. Specific gravity.

2. Good casting performance, it can die-cast precision parts with complex shapes and thin walls, and the casting surface is smooth.

3. Surface treatment: electroplating, spraying, painting.

4. Does not attract iron during melting and die casting, does not corrode the molding, and does not stick to the mold.

5. Good mechanical properties and wear resistance at room temperature.
