AMTS aims to cross-industry integration

The first Advanced Manufacturing Technology Show (AMTS) will be held on Oct. 2-5, 2019 at Taichung, Taiwan. The organizer Taiwan Machine Tool & Accessory Builders’ Association says, the competitiveness of Taiwan manufacturing sector is determined by the company’s integration ability, especially the cross-industry collaboration between the components and the system. Therefore, Advanced Manufacturing Technology Show is held to assist on industry upgrading, providing a platform of offering parallel connection of the supply chain and horizontal connection of cross-industry. The scale of the show is anticipated to be up to 1,000 booths, and its goal will be as great in the future as EMO Hannover. 

Impacted by US-China trade war, the world’s economy is shrinking. However, this is the best time for industrial transformation and upgrading. More than 1,600 manufacturers of all kinds of machinery are located in central Taiwan. With the subject of Industry 4.0 and Smart Manufacturing getting popular, the business opportunity of product upgrade is about to detonate.

AMTS 2019 is planned in 4 themed pavilions:Industrial IoT, AI & Big Data Ecosystem、Metalworking & Automation Equipment、Manufacturing Technology & Components、Precision Casting & After-treatment。The target exhibit products include Laser Cutting Machines, Ultrasonic Machines, Additive Manufacturing/3D Printer, Industrial Robots, Factory Automation Equipment, IoT, CPS, Industrial Numerical Controllers, FMS, Artificial Intelligence, 3D Measuring Equipment, and the related advanced products which can improve manufacturing process and increase capacity.
