Pro2Pac Event Set to be ‘Biggest Yet’

Pro2Pac, the UK’s only event dedicated to food and drink packaging will take place at ExCel London, from 22-25 March 2015.

Early indications are that the event is set to be the most successful yet with exhibitors and speakers flocking to take part in the event.     

Pro2Pac taking place alonside with the International Food and Drink Event (IFE) and the inaugural Waste-Works event. 

Together the events will cover the full food & drink supply chain, from ‘Farm to Fork to Fertiliser and Fuel’, and bring together key decision makers from the entire food and drink industry to offer unbeatable business and networking opportunities.

Corby Ganesh, Event Director at Fresh Montgomery, the event organiser, said: “Following a successful rebrand in 2013, Pro2Pac next year is set to be the biggest and best yet.
“The number and quality of the exhibitors combined with an exceptional Thought Leadership programme that features some of the biggest names in food and drink mean this year will be one not to be missed.”

The biennial event has a global reach as exhibitors from all over the world are drawn to ExCeL in London, where they will showcase their latest packaging and processing technologies and solutions. 

Rapid Action Packaging, Beatson Clark, Coveris, SIG Combibloc and winners of the coveted Packaging Company of the Year Award at the UK Packaging Awards, RPC Group, are just a few of the companies that have already signed up for the event. 

Mr Ganesh continues: “The packaging industry as a whole is at an important juncture and there are a raft of vital issues such as food waste, sustainability, food safety and internet retailing that will be covered at the event.

“Some of the world’s most respected authorities and suppliers of packaging will have a presence at the event to offer crucial insight into the sector.” 
The event features a comprehensive line-up of seminars as part of its Pro2Pac Live programme put together by leading packaging consultant Robert Herridge, managing director of Packology. 

The schedule is packed with thought leaders and industry experts who will share their insights on issues such as future packaging, new technologies, design, sustainability, and legislation. The programme will also be loaded with case studies from a range of key industry figures including the likes of Global Packaging Innovator for Coca Cola, Sanjay Patel, and Paul Earnshaw, Packaging Manager for Tesco.
