2019 Taipei AMPA came to a successful conclusion April 27-28. This year, the 6-in-1 show attracted approximately 7,200 foreign buyers from 142 countries. The number of foreign buyers exceeded the previous show. The top 10 buyers were from Japan, China, the United States, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Thailand, South Korea, the Philippines, Singapore, and Indonesia. The IoV, smart mobility, and EV forums held during the show attracted 1,100 industry professionals. Innovative technologies such as ADAS functional safety design and the application of millimeter wave radar sensors were analyzed, and the preparations needed to face the era of full electrification and intelligentization of vehicles were explored. Moreover, in order to assist the industry expand the auto parts market into China and Egypt, TAITRA's overseas unit led a group to Taiwan to hold briefing sessions. Among them, El Nour IMP, one of the top five traders in Egypt, attended the briefing with the group and exchanged views with the participants. The Taipei AMPA all-in-one show will be held at the TaiNEX 1 and TaiNEX 2, April 15-18 next year (2020).
