The 2008 Taiwan trade show of International Photovoltaic Forum & Exhibition only held for two days. A total of 155 manufacturers participated in the event and 300 trade show booths were used. As many as 5,166 people, domestic and international, visited the show during the two days, among which 765 people came from overseas, setting new records. Many manufacturers also took advantage of this exhibition to successfully expand their market in the European and American markets. It was estimated that the trading volume for the participating manufacturers would be exceeding NT$1 billion.
