Taking “Medicine X Technology” as the key driver, Healthcare+ Expo Taiwan is the key Asia Pacific forum for interdisciplinary collaboration between the medical, health, IT/electronics, and bio-pharmaceutical sectors, providing a stage for the development of medical technology innovations and new ventures. Co-organized by Research Center for Biotechnology and Medicine Policy, the Ministry of Health and Welfare, the Ministry of Economic Affairs, the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Council of Agriculture, and the Taipei City Government, the 2018 Healthcare + Expo Taiwan brought together 410 exhibitors from 10 countries, with over 1300 booths demonstrating groundbreaking technologies to more than 70,000 professionals from the medical, health IT, pharmaceutical, and biotech fields. More than 25 international delegations attended, including official representatives from Australia, China, Hong Kong, Israel, Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam, all seeking opportunities for new collaboration in Asia’s booming healthcare market.
