Description:
Optic attenuator is a passive device used to reduce the ampl itude of a l ight signal without significantly changing the wave form itself. This is often a requirement in Dense Wave Division Multiplexing (DWDM) and Erbium Doped Fiber Ampl ifier (EDFA) appl ications where the receiver cannot accept the signal generated from a high-power l ight source.
Features:
High-power l ight source durabi l ity
Wavelength independence
Attenuation levels ranging from 1dB to
20dB, with standard and premium tolerances,
plus custom configurations
