Water-filled Rubber Dam is a flexible dam bladder made of high-strength synthetic fiber fabric reinforced with weather-resistant rubber on both sides. By filling the bladder with water, the dam body expands and rises to retain water, achieving water storage and raising the upstream water level. When drainage, sediment removal or navigation is required, the water inside is released and the dam collapses completely, restoring the river's original flow section.
Compared to air-filled rubber dams, the water-filled type offers better stability and stronger resistance to wind, waves and ice, making it suitable for projects with higher dam heights and more complex flow conditions.
