Water-Filled Rubber Dam - Flexible Water-Retaining and Flood-Control Solution
Our water-filled rubber dam is a flexible water-retaining structure. It consists of a high-strength, fabric-reinforced rubber dam bag anchored to a concrete foundation slab, together with a filling and drainage system (pump station, pipelines, valves, and control unit). Water is pumped into the bag to raise the dam and lift the upstream water level. When the water is drained, the bag lies flat on the base slab and lets flood water pass freely.
Key Features:
High-strength dam bag: Multi-layer synthetic fabric reinforced with rubber, with excellent resistance to aging, abrasion, UV, and weathering
Stable and reliable: Water filling gives a heavy, stable dam body with strong resistance to wind, waves, and vibration
Adjustable dam height: Fill or drain to precisely control the upstream water level
Simple operation: Manual, remote, or automatic control available, using local water as the filling medium
Low maintenance: Simple structure with no heavy steel gates or complex hoisting equipment
Cost-effective: Shorter construction period and lower investment than traditional steel or concrete dams
Strong flood discharge: Fully drains flat to leave the channel unobstructed
Eco-friendly: Creates smooth water landscapes with minimal impact on the river channel
Applications:
Irrigation and water conservancy projects, hydropower stations, flood control, river and urban landscape water features, water storage and diversion, tidal barriers, and seawater intrusion prevention.
