Inflatable Rubber Dam - Flexible Water-Retaining and Flood-Control Solution
Our inflatable rubber dam is a flexible water-retaining structure. It consists of a high-strength, fabric-reinforced rubber dam bag anchored to a concrete foundation slab, together with an inflation and deflation system (compressor or blower, pipelines, valves, and control unit). By filling the bag with air, the dam rises to raise the upstream water level. When deflated, it lies flat on the base slab and lets flood water pass freely.
Key Features:
High-strength dam bag: Multi-layer synthetic fabric reinforced with rubber, with excellent resistance to aging, abrasion, UV, and weathering
Adjustable dam height: Inflate or deflate to precisely control the upstream water level
Fast operation: Quick inflation and deflation, with manual, remote, or automatic control available
Low maintenance: Simple structure with no heavy steel gates or complex hoisting equipment
Cost-effective: Shorter construction period and lower investment than traditional steel or concrete dams
Strong flood discharge: Fully deflates flat to leave the channel unobstructed
Eco-friendly: Creates smooth water landscapes with minimal impact on the river channel
Applications:
Irrigation and water conservancy projects, hydropower stations, flood control, river and urban landscape water features, water storage and diversion, tidal barriers, and seawater intrusion prevention.
