Bag in Box Line for Bulk Packaging of Nuts and Pellets | Lined Case Packaging

This bag in box line is designed for bulk packaging of nuts, and pellets or granules in polybags inside cartons. The line automatically erects cartons, seals the bottoms, and inserts and lines bags inside the cartons using roll stock film to form the Bag-in-Box packaging. The Calmus bag in box system then weighs and fills the bags with nuts, pellets or granules, applies a light vacuum, heat-seals the bag tops, and seals the carton tops.

The bag in box packaging line includes a carton erector, a poly bag inserter (carton lining machine), a weigh filling machine, a bag uncuffer sealer, a carton sealer and conveyors. The cartons can be sealed with tape or hot melt glue.

The poly bag inserter feeds film from a roll stock, cuts, and seals it to form a bag. The machine then inserts the bag into the erected carton, opens and cuffs the bag over the carton top flaps, and uses air to ensure the bag fits snugly against the carton's internal walls.

The bag uncuffer sealer process involves uncuffing the bag from the carton top flaps, stretching the bag opening, applying a light vacuum to prevent ballooning, and heat-sealing the bag. Finally, it flattens the bag inside the carton.
