Rubber Dam (Rubber Weir) - Flexible Water-Retaining and Flood-Control Solution
Our rubber dam is a flexible water-retaining structure made of high-strength synthetic fiber fabric reinforced with rubber. The dam bag is anchored to a concrete foundation slab and filled with water or air to form a dam that raises the upstream water level. When deflated, it lies flat on the base slab and lets flood water pass freely.
Key Features:
Durable material: Multi-layer fabric-reinforced rubber with excellent resistance to aging, abrasion, UV, and weathering
Adjustable dam height: Fill or drain to precisely control the upstream water level
Flexible operation: Manual, remote, or automatic control available
Low maintenance: Simple structure with no heavy steel gates or complex hoisting equipment
Cost-effective: Shorter construction period and lower investment than traditional steel or concrete dams
Strong flood discharge: Lies flat when deflated, leaving the channel unobstructed
Long service life: Stable, reliable performance in harsh environments
Eco-friendly: Creates smooth water landscapes with minimal impact on the river channel
Applications:
Irrigation and water conservancy projects, hydropower stations, flood control, river and urban landscape water features, water storage and diversion, tidal barriers, and seawater intrusion prevention.
