  • Condenser Lenses
Condenser lenses concentrate light into a projected beam. Used in projectors, enlargers, spotlights, and photo cell systems, they are usually mounted in pairs so that their convex surfaces are nearly in contact.
  • Converging Lenses (Optical Lenses)
COT provides prisms with various type and cemented prisms. The precision achieved 2" for 90° and 10" for 45°angle. Customers could have versatility for different type prism choices with various coating from our ultimate service.
  • Achromatic Lenses
Achromatic lenses are doublet systems consisting of one crown and one flint element, cemented together along a matching curvature, so that white light coming into the Lens is all focused (imaged) at the same point on the other side of the Lens. They are designed to minimize spherical and chromatic aberrations for infinite conjugate, visible spectrum imaging applications. When used on-axis, an achromatic Lens focuses an parallel input beam to a perfect "point", limited only by the effects of diffraction. This performance can be achieved over a broadband of wavelength. Achromatic lenses can be used to collimate and focus laser beams. They can also be used for high-quality imaging on-axis. However, the off-axis performance is significantly worse than the on-axis performance. If your...
  • Micro Lenses
Micro lenses are small lenses, generally with diameters less than a millimetre (mm) and often as small as 10 micrometres (μm). The small sizes of the lenses mean that a simple design can give good Optical quality but sometimes unwanted effects arise due to Optical diffraction at the small features.

  • Meniscus Lenses
A Lens having two spherically curved faces, one convex and the other concave, so that it has the form of a shell. A positive meniscus Lens is thicker in the middle than at the edges and serves as a converging Lens; a negative meniscus Lens thickens toward the edges and works as a diverging Lens. Very large telescopes may use meniscus mirrors, which are lightweight and require an active control system to retain their shape against gravity.
  • Cylinder Lenses
Cylindrical lenses have at least one surface that is formed like a portion of a cylinder. Cylindrical lenses are used to correct astigmatism in the eye, and, in rangefinders, to produce astigmatism, stretching a point of light into a line. Some styles of cylindrical lenses have antireflective coatings to increase the transmission of light through the Lens. Cylindrical lenses are available in either plano-concave or plano-convex configurations. Plano-concave lenses have a negative focal length and are used for image reduction or to spread light. Plano-convex lenses have a positive focal length, which makes them ideal for collecting and focusing light for many imaging applications.
  • Aspheric Lenses
Aspheric lenses are any lenses whose surface angles and profiles are neither part of a sphere nor part of a cylinder. Conventional or non-aspheric lenses have the same curve across their entire surface, like a ping-pong ball. Aspheric lenses accomplish the same amount of refraction but are flatter and slimmer. Aspheric lenses are commonly used in photography, as well as in eyeglasses and contact lenses. In the context of photography, the complex surface profiles of aspheric lenses can eliminate the distortion of certain types of lines, when compared to a conventional Lens. A single aspheric Lens sometimes has the ability to take the place of a more complex system of multiple lenses. This allows Lens systems to be smaller and lighter, in addition to sometimes costing less.
  • IR Lenses And UV Lenses
    1. COT developed many Optical components in infra ray and ultra violate wavelength range including: Silica, Silicon, Germanium, Sapphire, CaF2, MgF2, ZnS, ZnSe, etc. 2. Though those materials often owned extremely high or low hardness coefficient, many material fabrication precision had been obvious improved by new machines recent years. COT changed traditional process methods and solved the problems for IR and UV material fabrication accuracy and precision. Therefore, COT raised IR and UV Lens fabrication specification highly.
  • Specialty Lenses
Micro lenses are small lenses, generally with diameters less than a millimetre (mm) and often as small as 10 micrometres (μm). The small sizes of the lenses mean that a simple design can give good Optical quality but sometimes unwanted effects arise due to Optical diffraction at the small features.
